Northern Priladozhie

Trips by 2-4 seat inflatable boats equipped with outboard engines across Karelian lakes. The length of the routes is 30 to 150 km. Mushroom and berry picking, rest on islands etc.

Itinerary

Day 1. Arrival in Lodeinoye Pole. Drive by jeeps along gravel and forest roads with fords by the route: Sambatuksa – Ladoga Lake coast – Salmi settlement – Koirinoya waterfall – Bely Mosty (White Bridges) waterfall. Overnight in tents.
Day 2. Drive by jeeps (80 km) along gravel and forest roads with fords: Kolatselga settlement – Yaglyajarvi. Overnight in tents.
Day 3. Hard drive by jeeps (12 km) for Natural Park “Tolvojarvi”. Trekking. Fishing. Banya. Accommodation in tents or in guesthouses (extra payment). Overnight.
Day 4. Drive by jeeps along forest roads for Yanisjarvi Lake. Rafting by motorafts along Lake. Overnight in tents.
Day 5. Rafting along Yanisjoky River for Khemiakoski settlement (5 km), than for Khiidenselga settlement (20 km) on Ladoga Lake coast. Overnight in tents near the coastline.
Day 6. Motorafting along Ladoga Lake via Ladozhsky Shkhery for Sortavala. Motorboat transfer to Valaam Island (3 h).  Overnight in hotel “Zimnyaya” (“Winter”).
Day 7. Motorboat excursion along the Valaam Island coastline. Return to Sortavala. Transfer by minibus to Lodeinoye Pole for departure.
