Safari "Snow Necklace"

Having done a long trip in the bays of Lake Onego, you will see a unique monument of wooden architecture in wintertime. An excursion in the Island with visiting the Church of the Protection of the Virgin and ethnographic displays will be organized for you upon prior application. To stay overnight, you will have a guest lodge located 1,5 km of Kizhi Island, where you will have a rest, dinner, have a steam bath, and in the morning continue the tour. The trip starts and ends in Petrozavodsk. General length of the route is 180 km.

Itinerary

Day 1. Arrival in Petrozavodsk. Transfer to hotel “Prionezhny”. Training. Drive by snowmobiles Onezhskoye (Onega) Lake – Ivanovsky Islands – Shardonsky Islands – Lipovitsy – Kizhi Island. Accommodation in guesthouse. Russian banya.
Day 2. Drive (40 km) by snowmobiles Kizhi Island – Volkostrov – Elgov Island – Pod’elniki – Vorob’i with visiting monuments of wooden architecture. Overnight in guesthouse.
Day 3. Return for Petrozavodsk by snowmobiles: Oyatevschina – Ivanovsky Islands – Petrozavodsk.  Arrival in hotel “Prionezhny”.  Sauna. Transfer to train station. Departure.
