Zaonezhie

Trips by 2-4 seat inflatable boats equipped with outboard engines across Karelian lakes. The length of the routes is 30 to 150 km. Mushroom and berry picking, rest on islands etc.

Itinerary

Day 1. Arrival in Petrozavodsk. Transfer to Shuya River for rafting (40 km). Training. Rafting (40 km). Transfer by bus to Niva River (100 km). Observation crater of the Girvas volcano. Motorboat voyage along Niva River for Krimozero (10 km). Overnight in tents.
Day 2. Boat voyage (25 km) Krimozero – Belaya Gora settlement – Tivdiika river – Sandal Lake – Ershi settlement – Lychny Island – Logy Island. Overnight in tents on Logy Island.
Day 3. Boat voyage (12 km) along Sandal Lake. Beginning of jeep safari (120 km) by gravel and forest roads with fords and river-crossings for Unitskaya Guba Bay. Overnight in tents.
Day 4. Drive by jeeps along gravel and forest roads with fords for Lelikozero Lake. Overnight in tents.
Day 5. Drive by jeeps along gravel and forest roads with fords for Oyatevschina settlement. Motorboat voyage along Onega Lake to Eglov Island. Accommodation in tents or in guesthouses (extra payment). Excursion to Kizhi - an outdoor museum of  old wooden architecture. Overnight.
Day 6. Boat voyage along Onega Lake. Free time. Overnight in tents on Eglov Island or in guesthouses (extra payment).
Day 7. Motorboat transfer for Kizhi Island.  Return for Petrozavodsk by hydrofoil. City tour of Petrozavodsk. Free time. Departure.
